Click on the link at the left! Saturday, July 5 Avery Cup Fall Registration Coming in August! Be sure to keep checking this site for Avery Cup registration! Sunday, May 4 WFATA Calendar Check out the WFATA calendar for WFATA leagues and programs. The calendar has all the dates, locations, times as well as court reservations. Click on "Calendar" at the left of this article. Wednesday, February 6 Cardio Tennis Offerred by Pro Moses Akor Want a great workout and work on your tennis game at the same time? Come join us for Cardio Tennis. Classes consist of 1/2 hour cardio workout focused on getting you in shape for tennis and 1/2 hour drills. Classes are offerred Wednesday 9am and 6:30pm. Cost is $65 for four weeks. Contact Moses Akor at 880-9056 for more information or bring your checks made out to WFATA to Moses to participate. See you on the courts! Wednesday, February 6 Track Out Camp for Kids Kids, looking for something to do during track out? Come join our latest program for kids, Track Out Tennis Camp run by tennis Pro Moses Akor. Camp runs three weeks (length of track out) from 12am to 2pm, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Cost is $250 per camp. To register, bring a check made out to WFATA. For more information contact Moses Akor at 880-9056. Friday, February 1 Wake Forest Aces Fall 2008 Junior Team Tennis (JTT)
Join the Wake Forest Aces for competitive traveling JTT for Middle and High School players. Matches are Saturday mornings against city, club and subdivision teams in Raleigh and the surrounding area. Home matches will be held at Flaherty Park. Matches consist of 2 singles and 3 doubles matches and will last for 1.5 hours. The season starts March 15th and ends with a league tournament at Millbrook Tennis Center. We'll have two teams, Silver (Intermediate) and Bronze (Beginner). The cost is $28 per person, which includes a team T-shirt and $12 for past participants not needing the team shirt. Teams are limited to 12 players per team, so get your registration fee in to Moses ASAP. For more information, contact Sharon Kucyk @ 562-0620. |
